Hey everyone! Back in 2015 I got hit with reality when all my unhealthy habits I got from being in college caught up to me. I was the heaviest I had ever been!! Since beginning my weight loss journey in August 2015 I have lost 45 pounds. 15 of those pounds I lost in the past two months from the pure fact of being dedicated and motivated everyday to achieve my goal body. Eating clean, working out, and drinking a gallon of water everyday has been the best thing for me and my new lifestyle! @segentella . . I have struggled with bulimia, binging, PCOS and being morbidly obsese my whole life. At the age of 20 I was out of options, diets and hope. I started my journey to gastric bypass. Almost 3.5 years later I am finally at the healthiest place I have ever been- not only physically but mentally as well. My life is no longer full of negative self talk and an overwhelming degrading relationship with food. I have learned to love myself. with my page hope to help others realize their own self love @wannasplitsomething . . @sweat.is.good.for.the.swole On the left, 260 lbs in 2013. The right 150 lbs in 2017. Same person on the inside which is the strangest part of all this. The two girls look so different but feel the same. I worked hard for every single pound and inch and if I can do it anyone can. I'm still a work in progress but looking at pictures like this makes me realize how far I've come and makes me appreciate the journey! They say weight loss surgery is the easy way out, they say it's an easy fix, they say it's cheating. I can tell you it isn't, yes they take a portion of your stomach away but they don't fix your brain, your emotional attachment to eating, your constant craving for bad food. It's just a tool, like a barbell or kettle bell is. The weight doesn't magically continue to fall off, you have to work at it, be dedicated to your goals, never give up and never give in. #bestshapeofmylife #longwaytogo @beardedbeastinthemaking @beardedbeastinthemaking . .
